Certificate in Trauma Informed Coaching
The Certificate in Trauma Informed Coaching is a focused development experience that will deepen your understanding of how trauma shapes the way clients experience the world, and equip you with the skills to work with that understanding safely, ethically and with real confidence.
About the programme
Trauma informed coaching has grown rapidly as coaches and organisations recognise that past experiences, whether psychological, emotional or physical, shape the way people think, feel and respond in the present.
Those who work with a trauma informed approach describe a shift in their practice: a greater sensitivity to what is happening beneath the surface, a deeper confidence in knowing when and how to respond, and a clearer understanding of the boundary between coaching and therapy.
Trauma informed coaching is not about becoming a therapist. It is about understanding enough to recognise what you are seeing, to create genuine psychological safety, and to know when coaching is the right support and when it is not.
The programme provides a comprehensive professional development experience that teaches participants a practical set of tools, techniques and models, and includes supervised coaching from experienced credentialed coaches.
